Suburban Wildlife is a feature film that myself at Imogen McCluskey wrote when we were 21 and 23 respectively. We ended up making it on a crowdfunded budget of 4,000AUD. In 2019 Imo and I were able to fly to California for its Premiere at Cinequest Film and Creativity Festival thanks to CreateNSW! It premiered in Italy, London and we had our hometown premiere at the 2019 Sydney Film Festival! Thanks to our supportive friends, family and strangers we nabbed second runner up audience award there. Making Suburban Wildlife was one of the most challenging and hectic experience I’ve gone through but I am proud of what Imy, the whole team and myself I have achieved.
