Crafternoon Season 1 | Grouse House

Crafternoon was another show that needed a re-format of a pateron exclusive show from Aunty Donna’s back catalogue to make it into a new returnable series. It was filmed in January 2025 and featured the Aunty Donna boys making crafts with the strangely calm yet unsettling duo Madi Savage and Isaac Haigh. The original Aunty Donna’s Crafternoon was filmed in a studio with large LED screens but we wanted to scale back production costs. We opted for making each episode centre around a vague themes including “Space”, “Holidays” and “The Future”. I was tasked with coming up with a list of comedians to have on as guests and then we shortlisted them, trying to balance tone, humour and profile to make for engaging episodes.
